Lead Times

If certain prerequisites are met, day ahead MAB transportation service booking is possible. Under special circumstances Gas Connect Austria offers the option of MAB transportation service booking with a lead time of one working day (D-1).

Please note that for such bookings the following conditions must be met one working day (D-1) before the commencement of service provision:

  • A matching standard transportation contract must have been created in the Gas Management System (GMS) and finalized by the parties, and a nomination must be made (or already have been made).
  • The service level (firm/interruptible) of the standard transportation contract concluded on D-1 must conform to that of the contract stored in the GMS.
  • The entry and exit point specified by the standard transportation contract concluded on D-1 must conform to those named in the contract stored in the GMS.
  • The counterparty relationship specified by the standard transportation contract concluded on D-1 must conform to that named in the contract stored in the GMS.
  • The standard transportation contract concluded on D-1 must be set to “contract accepted” status in the Capacity Utilization (CU®) no later than 12:00 am (CET/CEST) on the day before the commencement of service provision (D-1).
  • The standard transportation contract concluded on D-1 must be signed by the customer, and have reached the key account manager responsible as a PDF document in advance (D-1).
  • Gas Connect Austria must have received the deposit required one day before the commencement of service provision.
     

If any of the above conditions mentioned are not me,t the standard transportation contract (D-1 transaction) is deemed to be automatically terminated with immediate effect. Hence, Gas Connect Austria is released from its obligations under the contract.

 

The following lead times apply to all other reservations:

  • Creation of transportation contracts: The standard transportation contract must be set to “contract accepted” status in the CU® system a minimum of 5 full working days before the commencement of service provision.
  • Changes to the entry and exit point and/or counterparty: The standard transportation contract must be set to “contract accepted” status in the CU® system a minimum of 3 full working days before the commencement of service provision.
